Rossi TT update: 'Every motorcyclist in the world has heard of the Isle of Man TT'

MCN has helped arrange for eight-times world champion Valentino Rossi to ride at the Isle of Man TT. The man spoke exclusively to MCN at last weekend’s Motegi MotoGP about his TT plans.

The eight-times world champion said: “It will be a great honour for me to attend the Isle of Man TT, something I have wanted to do for a long, long time. It is a race that I have always been curious to see, and now finally I will get my chance. 

“One of the first races I ever heard about when I was young was the Isle of Man TT. It is a race so steeped in history that I think every motorcyclist in the world has heard of the Isle of Man TT.

“It is the first time and I am really excited to understand how it happens and I’m looking forward to seeing the bikes on the road. On TV already it looks f**ing crazy, so for real it must look incredible, and having never seen a proper road race, I’m really looking forward to that.”
