DVLA wiped my license too

With regard to you item about wiping driving licences by DVLA, I had the same problem years ago. When I renewed my licence, it came back without the ‘d’ category.

I contacted the DVLA and they said they had no record of my driving test. Although i had given them the test center (since closed) and the date they still had no record of my test. I didn’t have a bike at the time so I let it go.

A friend of mine had the same problem, he also took his test at the same center (stourbridge) dvla told him to go to a solicitor and sign an affadavit, which he did, and then the DVLA amended his licence – typical government agency, left hand hasn’t a clue what the right hand is doing. what happens now if i get a producer? do I have to take another test because of some idiot at the dvla?
