Mystery of biker found dead in Cornwall

MCN readers are being asked to help solve the mystery of a biker found dead on a railway line in the Marazion area of Penzance, Cornwall.

The grey-haired man, aged 30-45, was killed when he was hit by the London to Penzance train on 15 August 2009.

He was white, 5ft 8in tall and was wearing an expensive black leather bike jacket with body armour and Belstaff gloves, but despite an extensive search of the area police have not been able to find his bike or identify the man.

PC Colin Burrell from the British Transport police: “We hope that one of MCN’s readers will recognise this description or realise that one of their friends is missing and come forward to identify him.”

The man was also wearing a pair of beige trousers and brown suede boots.

Anyone with any information which may help police identify the man should contact the British Transport Police on 0800 405040.
