AGV confirms latest Rossi replica helmet

You’ll have to be quick to snap up the latest Valentino Rossi lid, as just 300 will be available in the UK when it goes on sale in April.

Rossi donned the Celebr-8 after scooping his eight world crown in Japan last year, and has worn it throughout winter testing.

The helmet comes in black, with a chequered flag logo on top, the number 8 on the forehead, and Rossi’s trademark no.46 race number on the side.

It’s based on AGV’s GP-Tech shell, which is made from a mix of fibreglass, Kevlar, and carbon fibre, and comes in sizes 2XS-3XL. As with other Rossi reps, the lid will come in a special edition box.

Prices will be confirmed closer to the launch, but expect to pay around £480 – the same price as the Rossi 5 Continents replica.
