Tucano Urbano updates collection for ’09 spring/summer

Italian scooter and motorcycle wear brand, Tucano Urbano, has released information on their latest range for 2009.

News direct from Italy is that they’ve gone along the lines of hitting four different angles: Personality, Be proud, Technical standards and Colour.

Here is how the manufacturer has broken it down:

Personality

Each scooter rider and motorcyclist has the chance to choose their own look, whatever suits them best, depending on the day and their mood.

Tucano Urbano has designed a new line of multi-use tube collars in bamboo viscose to protect you from the wind: FACE_TU_FACE.

Choose your new look from eleven exclusive colour designs or, better still, choose more than one.

Some designs are double-sided: just turn the collar round and choose the design of your choice: cat or dog, skull or pirate, or even be ready for a passionate tango with a rose between your lips.

Other new designs include leopard, gnome, bull, black panther, pig and optical, or just plain black.

A Kids version is also available, with skull, cat and dog prints.

Be proud

Be proud to belong to the world of two wheels, especially when there’s a queue and you don’t have to give a second thought to motorists stuck in traffic, but also when watching Sunday’s MotoGP!

Be proud and sport one of Tucano Urbano’s distinctive new line of short-sleeved, crew-neck T-shirts, customised with young, trendy designs based on the motto In moto sempre in moto (by bike, always by bike).

U_ CODE is the name which not only means Tucano Urbano Dress Code, but also Tu (fai le) code, noi no (You queue, we don’t)…

There are, after all, scooter riders who leave behind them a line of cars at traffic lights, who leave others behind like a long line of snails or just like an ostrich beat off a herd of rhinoceroses.

And then again, there are also those motorcyclists who sit glued to the television on Sundays (5 sizes S/XXL for him; 4 sizes XS/L for her).

Technical standards

The new three-layered technical trench, TECNOTRENCH, takes its inspiration from mountain-wear, it combines technical standards with a classic cut and with its everyday style makes rainwear stylish and effective.

Features include polyester exterior, 100 per cent breathable and waterproof membrane, polyester mesh interior, taped stitching and passive safety inserts.

The Tecnotrench comes with clever double fastenings, providing a jacket both for him and her. Available in black, in 6 sizes XS/XXL;).

Colour

To keep up with fashion and to spread splashes of cheer onto the city streets and beyond, Tucano Urbano continues to update its colour range.

This spring, the colour purple becomes a common trend in the clothing range: URBANJI LADY, the rain jacket SHORTY LADY (5 sizes XS/XL;) and the cotton version SHORTY COTTON LADY (5 sizes 43/46;), also coming in orange.

The LORI (6 sizes XXS/XL;) is now also available in tan, pastel green and yellow and new colours in the FESTER range (6 sizes XS/XXL;) include tan and dark grey.

Last but not least the rain jacket GUSCIO RAIN (7 sizes XS/3XL;) is now also available in red and white/red, as well as in black.
