Ducati and AMG confirm MotoGP partnership

Ducati has announced that AMG, the high performance arm of the Mercedes-Benz, will be supporting its MotoGP factory team for 2011.

This means the AMG logo will join those of Marlboro and TIM on Valentino Rossi’s GP11 and leathers next season and confirms a rumour that has been circulating for some time.

Mercedes-AMG CEO Ola Källenius said “AMG and Ducati are perfect partners both on the racetrack and on the road as both our companies share the same values. The key message put across by both companies is an expression of our innate passion for racing, high performance and exclusivity.”
