New REV'IT range

REV’IT have launched a new jacket and trouser combination for the 2010 season.

After their success with the Off Track jacket and Dakar trousers, the SAND range has been launched with improved durability and enhanced waterproofing.

Both the jacket and trousers come with a new PU (polyurethane) coating to prevent soaking of the outer shell, and there is a new connecting zip, that seals the two, preventing any water leaking through.

There is protective armour in the shoulders, on the elbows, and on the back of the jacket, and REV’IT says it comes with stronger zippers than the Off Track version, as well as bigger pockets and bigger chest vents, which incorporate a ‘high-flow 3-D mesh’.

The SAND trousers also compliment the jacket with new features, including a PWR/wax coating on the inside of the legs for a better grip on the bike.

The trousers are thin enough to wear tucked inside your boots, but also wide enough to wear over them, and have a detachable thermal lining.

To round off the range REV’IT have also launched a lightweight SAND glove, for use on and off road.

REV’IT claim the palm of the glove features ‘PU-injected leather for abrasion resistance’, with the back of the glove comprising of stretchy material to allow for a snug fit.

The jacket is priced at £296.99, with the trousers at £198.99 and the gloves £44.99.
