Police appeal over £100,000 bike collector burglary

Hertfordshire police are trying to trace a rare, stolen Ducati, in a search for the thieves responsible for a £100,000 burglary.

The 1998 Ducati 916 Senna – number 113 of 500 built – was stolen on the evening of Saturday 19 March from a private home in Welwyn. Thieves also took jewellery, an Audi car and other belongings valued at £100,000.

The black Ducati is data tagged and has five hidden transponder codes around the frame. Estimated value is £9500.

License is R366 OPR, Chassis frame no. ZDM916S012635 and Engine No. 013135.

Anyone who has any information regarding the missing bike should contact their local police force.
