Four-times WSB champion Carl Fogarty and his TV commentator best mate Jamie Whitham are offering 36 pairs of tickets to MCN readers for three of their ‘Foggy and Whit: Givin’ It Gas’ shows.

The tour takes in six dates between 9-19 May and features the two ex-racers taking questions from the audience and recounting tales from their illustrious careers. Last year’s tour was a sell-out and raised nearly £10,000 for charity. MCN readers can win tickets to the final three shows (see tour schedule below), with two pairs of VIP tickets including an overnight stay up for grabs at the Newark show.

Both Foggy and Whit vow the shows will be will be unscripted with no rehearsals to maintain the successful improvised formula of last year’s events. Foggy said: “It worked so well last time – we had no expectations, so it was a lot more natural just letting it flow. I was absolutely sh**ting myself before the tour started, but James was just relaxed and wondering what I was on about!

“Last year we managed to raise nearly £10,000 for local causes. This year we aim to double that total.”

Local charities will get proceeds from auctions at each of the events, including MCN’s favourite charity Riders for Health. Tickets are £20 and the tour dates and charities are:

May 9th – Camberley – Shooting Star Hospice

May 10th – Taunton – Go Commando

May 11th – Worthing – St Barnabas House Hospice

May 17th – Newark – The Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance

May 18th – Cheltenham – Severn Freewheelers (Blood Bikes)

May 19th – Peterborough – Riders For Health
