Sammy Miller autojumble cancelled

The Sammy Miller Motorcycle Museum has been forced to cancel this Sunday’s (May 4) autojumble because persistent rain has left the venue’s fields waterlogged.

The museum in the New Forest had planned to have around 100 stalls, some on the hard-standing car park with the overspill in its fields, and car parking was also due to be on the same fields. But the potential quagmire has forced them to postpone the event, which has been listed in this week’s MCN newspaper.

A spokesman for the museum said: “We’ve held it before when the fields have been wet and we’ve ended up with cars stuck in the mud, so we felt it was best to call it off this time. The next autojumble here will be on August 10.”

The museum will be open as normal on Sunday. For more details, go to www.sammymiller.co.uk
