Bike of the Day: Yamaha TRX850

Sadly short-lived TRX used tweaked TDM850 engine in a Ducati-style chassis to be, effectively, a Japanese ‘900SS’. In fact, it was arguably better than that, offering fine performance allied to good looks, robust build and decent value.

Today they’re highly prized and becoming something of a modern classic meaning that this one, at just over £2K and with just 10,000 miles on the clocks, probably won’t be around for long.
