Slide, the fast-paced, handlebar-bashing, celebrity-packed race series at the Carole Nash MCN London Motorcycle Show is back for 2016 with an impressive line-up of star riders from BSB and road racing.

In celebration of the 20th anniversary of the British Superbike Championship, five of series’ greatest riders are going head to head and rekindling some of the greatest battles of the world’s most exciting national race series.

Neil Hodgson and Chris Walker will be rekindling that classic 2000 season where they were locked in a thrilling but bitter battle. The pair spent the year at war both on and off the track as they fought to win the crown, with the tussle going down to the final race of the year when Hodgson took his Ducati 996 to the title after Walker’s Suzuki GSX-R750 suffered a blown engine.

Niall Mackenzie, John Reynolds and Tommy Hill are three supremely talented riders that individually have been thrilling fans across the entire 20-year history of the BSB championships. With seven titles between them expect some needle on the track as the old guard of Mackenzie and Reynolds defend their honour against 2011 champion Hill.

As if five BSB legends weren’t enough, TT icon John McGuinness will be showing the BSB boys what a 23-time TT winner can do. Sponsored by Michelin, Slide takes place several times a day over the weekend and there’s no extra charge to see it.
