Bike of the Day: Triumph Trophy 900

The very first model from the revived Hinckley Triumph concern was the Trophy 1200 but itwasn’t until the 900 triples came on line that it started to find its feet, which makes this early Trophy 900 not only significant, as one of the first Hinckley bikes, but half decent, too – and this one’s up for grabs for under 700 quid.

OK, it’s not the most sophisticated of bikes and this 47K-miler needs a bit of TLC but for this money as either cheap transport or just to ride and restore, you can’t really go wrong.
