The first generation Versys 1000 may not be the prettiest bike out there, but as a road-focussed adventure bike it’s certainly up there.

The inline-four cylinder has bags of power and is incredibly smooth. Pair this with superb comfort and the big Versys makes for an ideal long distance bike. This example’s up for sale at £6,331 and hasn’t covered too many miles.
