KTM’s Adventure 990 was always favoured by those who wanted serious off road capabilities from their adventure bike due to it being lighter than the competition.

On the road the punchy 990cc V-twin has bags of usable torque and the handling is surprisingly good despite the 21-inch front wheel.

If you’re not bothered about the latest adventure bikes with their monster power figures, the 990 represents excellent value for money.
