Published: 13 October 2015

Save the date and book now, April 15-18 2016 will see Butlins Skegness taken over by thousands of bikers for MCN Live! There’s something for everyone!

More live acts than ever before!

MCNLive! has always been famous for a huge number and eclectic mix of bands but for 2016 we’re pulling out all the stops and booking more live acts than ever! From rock to dance, soul to indy, there will be music for all tastes in two huge venues. Already booked are Steve Ferringo, Mercury (Queen tribute), Antarctic Monkeys, Complete Madness, BooMin and Green Date.

Ride off-road with Yamaha

If you’re looking for an introduction to riding Motocross or want to try a big adventure bike off-road the Yamaha AMCA MX experience will be offering try-and-ride introductory sessions at MCNLive! With experienced instructors, riding kit and the latest Yamaha models it’s the perfect chance to have a go off-road. And like most of the attractions the event, it’s free!

The Brilliant Steve Colley Stunt Show

‘Mr Showtime’ is back for 2016 with his unique and jaw-dropping display of bike control. One of the best in the business, Steve’s display is always an MCNLive! highlight and if you’ve never seen his signature ‘monowheel’ stunt then you’re in for a treat!

Thrilling Short Track racing

Short track racing is coming to MCNLive! The best short track riders in the UK will be showing off their incredible skills as they bash handlebars, barrel into turns on full lock and slide their way out. Riders include five times British champion Ade Collins, former British champions Tim and Tom Neave and Alan Birtwistle who’ll be performing his incredible stunt of dragging his handlebars through the corners!

Two massive rideouts

The ride to Cadwell is always popular and we’ve secured track time. Our second ride is to Kirkby Airfield where the East Kirkby Straightliners drag racing club will be running some stunning sprint bikes up the airfield – and you can put your bike on the strip too. Track places at both rides are on a first come, first served basis.

Grab a bargain!

With a packed retail village on-site there’s never been a better chance to bag a bargain. Whether you’re just after a T-shirt or a completely new riding kit there’ll be plenty of stands selling great products at low low prices.

Meet racing legends

John McGuinness, Chris Walker and John Reynolds will be at MCNLive! the whole weekend and as well as stage interviews, signings and taking part in the rideouts they’ll be partying the night away with the best of them so expect to bump into a legend or two at the bar!

Relax and soak in the atmosphere

When you feel like taking it easy, the Butlins facilities offer fantastic value. There’s a huge choice of meal plans, bars and family entertainment including the Splash Waterworld, Spa and much more! Note: Butlins charge extra for some services.

Try out a classic bike

Always wanted to ride or own a classic but didn’t know where to start? The team from the National Motorcycle Museum will be bringing along exhibits for people to try out. With guidance from the experienced tutors you could be riding a priceless machine around our controlled course. Spaces are limited, so sign up early.
