One of the UK’s best biking events, the Brackley Festival of Motorcycling sees a sleepy Northamptonshire town close its roads to traffic and lets hundreds of modern and classic road and race bikes take over the streets instead.

TOP STORIES

On Sunday August 14, watch bikes as diverse as MotoGP Desmosedicis, British Superbike BMWs, Manx Nortons and ex-works Yamaha TZs parade through Brackley’s high street in a haze of smoke and noise, then wander through the open paddock and static display area to see the special machines up close.

Bikes are everywhere at the Brackley festival, but if you fancy a break from the sound of revving engines just head to the Piazza to enjoy live music from Josie and the Outlaws, or a refreshing shandy at one of Brackley’s friendly pubs.

The Brackley Festival of Motorcycling is raising money for The Bike Experience and the Warwickshire Northamptonshire Air Ambulance.

Tickets are £7.50 on the gate, under 16s free.
