Victory to cut back the number of models available in Europe. While Victory can continue to sell the current models in the US market, the new rules mean only bikes with full Euro4 certification can be sold in the UK.

As a result, models that won’t be carried into the 2017 Victory range include: Vegas, Hammer, Cross Country, Magnum, Magnum X-1, Cross Country Tour and Vision. A small number of already-built machines will still be allowed on sale.

Victory Motorcycles General Manager Rodney Krois said: “We look to a bright future at Victory, learning from our past successes, while not forgetting the models that have made us the brand we are today. Octane was the start of a new direction for Victory Motorcycles and we can now get ready for the next chapter. Sure, we’re sad to see some models leave the European region, but what follows will be even more exciting.”

MCN understands there will be rush of new Victory models coming in the next few years as the company expands the number of bikes that fit with the firm’s ‘American Performance’ mantra, while sister company Indian continue to immerse themselves in the heritage end of the market, targeting Harley-Davidson’s dominance.
