Military charity ride-out

The Maria Hanson Foundation are organising a charity ride-out from Nottingham to Mablethorpe on May 1^st 2016.

‘Ride to the Dunes’ starts at The Bee Keeper Inn, Meadow Lane, Beeston NG9 5AE at 9am and finishes at The Dunes Complex, Central Promenade, Mablethorpe LN12 1RG.

It costs £10 per bike to take part and proceeds go towards offering static caravan holidays to serving and ex-serving military, especially those who’ve suffered serious injuries or Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).

The Daz’s Den caravan in Mablethorpe is also offered as a bereavement break to families who’ve lost loved ones killed in action. Last year the charity sent 42 soldiers and their families on free holidays – 70% had severe PTSD.
