From humble beginnings back in 2008, now the Brackley Festival of Motorcycling is one of the Northamptonshire town’s biggest annual events. In fact, bikers nationwide now have August 14 pinned in their calendars!

The event shuts down the town’s main high street for some serious metal-eye-candy, as road racers show their skills on everything from pre-65 classics and MotoGP beauties.

Away from the high street parades you can also check out the arena for amazing back-flip stunt shows, and take a wander around 50 acres of displays filled with every kind of motorcycle sport and leisure activities.

Wall of death, rock bands, food courts, an enormous funfair, custom bikes, trade courts, a vintage motorcycle show… What more do you want?

In fact there is more… last year the festival raised £31,000 for charity so there is an opportunity for you to help fund some local charities and have a brilliant day out too.

Brackley Festival of Motorcycling is a non-profit event and is situated six miles from Silverstone Circuit

Here are some highlights from last year’s festival…
