Video: KTM takes on Ferrari in tug of war

Introduced to the world as The Beast before its official unveiling, the 1301cc Super Duke pumps out 99ftlb of torque and 160bhp and takes your breath away.

It takes just 4.79 seconds to get from 30-100mph in third gear. That beats any other road bike we’ve ever tested, so it’s the perfect bike to take on a Ferrari in a tug of war.

The Ferrari in question, a LaFerrari, has equally impressive performance figures. 950bhp and 715ftlb of torque from the 6.3-litre V12 and electric motor.

Despite the huge advantage the car should have due to the power being shared between two huge rear tyres, the KTM puts up a good fight, before succumbing to the power of the Italian supercar.

The video ends rather abruptly, though. Hopefully the KTM didn’t end up in the pond.
