What’s being billed as a genuine set of Kevin Schwantz leathers has cropped up on eBay for an astonishing ten grand.

Seller tez7892 says Schwantz was wearing the Lucky Strike Suzuki suit in a slide at the British GP at Donington Park – hence the scuffed rear.

The seller adds: “Here is my set of genuine Kevin Schwantz leathers. I have owned them for many years and have decided to sell them.”

MCN has approached Schwantz for a comment on the suit and whether he might be interested in making a bid for his collection.

With postage and packaging, £35 economy delivery, this could be the perfect Christmas present for someone. And if you buy today, it is estimated it will arrive to any location in the UK between 11 – 12 December. Sorted.

The most influential machines in the ‘biz

It’s no doubt that authentic celebrity memorabilia can go for quite a bit at auction. Sometimes even raising thousands of pounds for charity.

More recently MCN investigated the most famous bikes in the celeb world and how well they’ve sold on the market.

Some of these influential machines included Carl Fogarty’s Ducati 916, David Beckham’s Triumph T100 Bonneville and Charley Boorman’s ‘Long Way Round’ BMW R1150GS Adventure.
