Motorcycle clothing manufacturer Hideout Leather was broken into last week, with thieves stealing a variety of leather suits and jackets from their Ashdon-based site.

One of the leather suits taken was a ladies’ one-piece, which was made specifically for Rebecca Ferguson to wear opposite Tom Cruise in Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation.

The firm is comprised of just 10 people – who design, produce and sell their clothing onsite. Alarms were triggered at around 4am last Thursday (January 19)  and staff have since taken to social media to help see the safe return of their products.

In a Facebook post, the firm said: “We are absolutely devastated. This is months of work by our hard working team taken in minutes.

“All of it is branded so it’s got to turn up somewhere. Please keep sharing as we want it back!”

Alongside the leathers, a number of jackets including parts of their Heritage and Sport collections were also taken.

This is not the first time the company has experienced a break in of this kind and were previously burgled in 2013.

The thieves disabled the security cameras on the surrounding businesses at around 12.30pm and entered the building using a boarded up window.

Police are now investigating the incident and anyone who wants to help share the images of the stolen products can do so via Hideout’s Facebook page.
