At Intermot in October last year historical manufacturer Segoni unveiled the G800 Oro, a Kawasaki Z800-powered bike with a 24 carat gold-plated steel frame, after a 40-year slumber.

Now it’s been confirmed there will be two versions; a standard model which will cost £60,000 and a top-spec version, which will cost £69,600, with only 20 being made. Each bike will be made to order and will take three months to arrive.

When the bike was first shown at Intermot it featured Marzoocchie forks and Bitubo suspension, but the latest images from Segoni reveal the bike will now be fitted with Ohlins suspension. Wheels are provided by OZ Racing, brakes by Brembo and exhausts by Arrow. As you’d expect for such an expensive bike, the bodywork is carbon fibre. Segoni claim a weight of 170kg and power of 113bhp.
