An all-new live action show is set to hit the Carole Nash MCN London Motorcycle Show in February 2018. Discounted tickets and paddock passes are on sale now, but that’s not all that we’ve got planned!

Our current #BlackFriday offer of two tickets for just £31 ends November 28!

The Michelin Thunderdrome

There are some big and exciting changes for next year’s Carole Nash MCN London Motorcycle Show and they don’t get much bigger than the Michelin Thunderdrome.

For the past four years our celebrity packed, live action show has been thrilling show goers with exciting wheel-to-wheel and elbow-to-elbow racing. For 2018 we’re taking the action up a couple of notches by introducing the Michelin Thunderdrome, a live action show like you’ve never seen before. Inspired by the spectacular all-wooden boardtrack race circuits of the early 1900s, Thunderdrome features terrifyingly steep wooden banking enabling riders to slingshot high around the turn and take the bend at breathtaking speed.

The opposite end of the course is kept flat, letting the riders back their machines into the turn and then power slideout, locking handlebars as they go. The result will be some breathtaking racing and something that has to be seen to be believed! World Superbike stars Chris Walker, Neil Hodgson and the master of sideways action Ruben Xaus will be the first riders to take on the Michelin Thunderdrome plus a special guest to be announced later this month.

Incredible machines under the hammer

Coys of Kensington will once again beholding an auction at the 2018 show featuring an enticing range of bikes for every pocket. Last year’s auction saw an incredibly diverse range of machines on offer with everything from flat-tank pioneer bikes to modern day race machinery up for grabs. Highlights of the sale included a1927 Brough Superior Overhead Valve680 that went under the hammer fora blistering £78,400 and an ‘as-new’1994 Honda RC45 with just 1km on the clock that sold for £40,320.

Due to the phenomenal record breaking success of the 2017 event, entries for 2018 will be strictly limited but there is still time to submit a machine for sale in the auction. The auction will be held in the main hall atExCeL on Saturday February 17. Send entries to Dan Godin at Coys UK motorcycle department on 0208614 7888, motorcycle@coys.co.uk or Giuliano Fazi +39 335 1488303,giuliano.fazi@coys.co.uk at Coys European office.

A Paddock Pass gives visitors exclusive access to the all-new Michelin Thunderdrome live action and racing stars. It’s your chance to enjoy the racing action whilst having the best view in the house. Adult Paddock Pass tickets start from £40 with child tickets starting from £20.

Have a pint with McPint

Ever wanted to chat with 23-time TT winner John McGuinness over a pint? Now you can as the Morecambe Missile opens the doors to his very own boozer at the MCN London Show. After three decades racing McGuinness has some incredible stories to tell, cherished memories to share and some incredible machines to show off. Called the Cockle Pickers Arms in deference to John’s job on the Morecambe beaches before he burst onto the racing scene in 1990, the pub will be a tribute to the legend with bikes, memorabilia, trophies, photographs and awesome footage of him in action.

Looking forward to getting behind the bar and serving a few pints McGuinness explained: “I’ve always fancied being a pub landlord, I’m in them enough, so I might as well run one! I’m looking to banning a few people, Chris Walker and Neil Hodgson will be the first ones on the blacklist!”
