MV release the Brutale 800 RR America

Hot on the heels of the updated 2018 Brutale 800 RR, which now boasts a 140bhp Euro4-compliant triple, MV Agusta have released a special edition – the America.

Sharing the same basic platform as the RR, which includes a redesigned gearbox and updated electronics, the America pays homage to the 1975 MV S America 750 through its unique styling and paint.

Featuring a metallic blue paint scheme, complete with star-studded tank motif like the 1973 750 S, the bike also comes with a unique red seat which, according to MV, has ‘comfort-enhanced padding.’

While not actually limited in its production run, each America comes marked with ‘America Special Edition’ and an individual production number on the instrument cluster as well as a certificate of authenticity.

The America will retail for £15,940 when it is in the UK in May, which is £2100 more than the standard Brutale 800 RR but less than the £16,540 Pirelli Edition or £17,340 Brutale 800 RC.
