A one-of-a-kind, special-edition Ducati Panigale V4 S will be put up for auction on eBay next month to raise money for the Nicky Hayden Foundation.
Produced in tribute to the 2006 MotoGP world champion, who tragically lost his life in a training accident in 2017, the bike was created by US dealership, Motocorsa, of Portland, Oregon.
Backed by Ducati North America, the machine was first unveiled by Hayden’s family in April of this year at the Circuit of the Americas, during the MotoGP race weekend, and is currently on display at the Ducati stand at the Laguna Seca WSB round.
Set to go up for auction on August 1, 2019, all proceeds above the reserve price will go to the Foundation.
Alongside a 2013 Nicky Hayden replica grand prix livery, the 1103cc, 211bhp V4 superbike, has been littered with plenty of aftermarket extras to add some individuality.
Featuring a slip-on Akrapovic exhaust, alongside a dry clutch kit lifted straight from the V4 R, the bike has been gifted with BST carbon fibre rims for added lightness. Also included is a Ducati Performance racing seat and mirror block offs.
Much like the Panigale V4 25° Anniversario 916 revealed on Friday, to mark its authenticity, the top yoke has also been engraved with Hayden’s iconic 69 and the numbers 001/001.
