The 2020 Yamaha YZF-R1 and R1M will be making their European debut at the Snetteron round of the British Superbike championship later this month.
Unvieled yesterday at the Laguna Seca round of the World Superbike championship, the bikes will make their first public appearance on Saturday, July 20, at the Yamaha Village and will remain on display all weekend.
In celebration of the bike’s illustrious history, the new machine will be displayed alongside every previous iteration, starting with an original 1998 model.
What's more, if you're an owner of any Yamaha, you can expect reduced-price tickets for Sunday's race action, plus VIP parking and the chance to participate in a parade lap around the 300 circuit.
Tickets will be reduced from £35 to £23.80 and you'll also be able to have a good look around a replica of the McAMS Yamaha Bennetts BSB R1, while riders Tarran Mackenzie, Jason O’Halloran and Matt Truelove will be on hand for autographs and selfies throughout the day.
You'll need to move quickly, however, as there are only 200 tickets available. To book, you'll need to provide your bike's registration number and be on site, registered with Yamaha's team by 9:45 latest to join in the parade at 10:15.
