The Retromobile 2022 sale catalogue has been released with some tasty two-wheeled machines, including classic racebikes and even a custom Triumph built exclusively for the sale.

Created from a carbed Thruxton, Tamarit’s Jade is one of the real stars of the auction, requiring over 250 hours of painstaking work to achieve the finished piece.

There’s function as well as fashion with a new swingarm and monoshock, Beringer calipers and a Zard exhaust. There’s no reserve but estimates are in excess of £45,000.

This one-off Kawasaki is based on a ZX-7R superbike

Also in the sale is a replica 24 Hour of Le Mans-winning Kawasaki, built by endurance racing tuners Georges Godier and Alain Genoud.

Based on a ZX-7R, the bike was repainted, fitted with a new fairing and tuned for the Yoshimura pipe. The estimate is around £17,000. Sitting alongside is a 1983 Rau Kawasaki based on a GPZ1100.

Manfred Rau was a contemporary of, and rival to, legendary frame builder Fritz Egli, specialising in nickel-plated frames. Overhauled and fitted with a bank of Mikuni CR carbs, it now produces 143bhp and has an estimate of £25,000.
