Let Suzuki make it all better for you… Free service will sort repairs if your bike is attacked by thieves

Suzuki have launched a new aftercare programme to help owners who have recovered their stolen bike or had an accident by dealing with insurance companies and organising repairs. And the best part is, it’s completely free with no sign-up required.

Any Suzuki owner, regardless of the age of their bike, can make use of the new Suzuki First programme by calling 0330 880 5411 after a stolen bike is recovered or you’ve been involved in an accident. Suzuki will deal directly with your insurers and organise repair using genuine Suzuki parts

“Having your bike stolen is obviously a nightmare situation for owners,” said Jacob Lewis, Suzuki GB’s customer retention manager. “It’s stressful, and even though it’s insured, that doesn’t take away from the pain, distress, and hassle of dealing with either getting your insurance pay-out for it, recovering it, or, if you do get it back, putting right any damage caused in the theft.”

Getting your bike recovered after it is stolen is sometimes only half the story, and victims can find themselves with forced steering locks, bypassed immobilisers, damaged ignition barrels or crash damage following a police intervention – you may not be able to simply ride your bike away.

Lewis added: “We’ll deal with your insurance company from start to finish, and in cases where the bike is recovered and needs repairs carrying out, we’ll handle that too. We’ll liaise with the insurance provider and ensure that the bike is repaired at one of our authorised dealerships, using genuine parts.

“That’s why we’ve introduced this programme, and that’s why we’ve introduced it for free, with no sign-up required. Suzuki owners just need to call us in the event of a theft or accident, and we’ll take it from there. It’s our way of continuing to look after our customers after they’ve left the showroom.”
