Rare chance to win a Lyndon Poskitt Rally Adventure

Dakar racer, adventurer, and star of the Races to Places YouTube series, Lyndon Poskitt is giving fans the chance to win a top-spec rally bike.

The competition will see the winner take home a Lyndon Poskitt Racing-prepared (LPR) 732 Factory Rally Adventure Bike, based on a modified KTM 690 Rally Replica.

Named the Basil Bike after his grandfather, the adventure rider rode the Rally for 145,000 miles, through 74 countries in six continents and participated in many races around the globe.

Due to the popularity of his YouTube videos, requests from all over the world came in for replica versions of the Basil. So Poskitt, over a period of 10 years, built 34 Racing Factory Rally Adventure bikes and many more LPR732cc LC4 Adventure / Racing performance engines.

Poskitt said: “I wanted to mark the end of this era with something special and as such, I have managed to get my hands on one more bike, of which will be carefully built into the same specification of Basil Bike for one last time and better still I will give the bike away in a competition / raffle in 2023.  The bike will be named Felix, a name with Latin roots meaning fortunate, happy, and lucky.”

To be in with a shout of winning, you need to answer a question online and purchase a ticket for £25 – with the winner announced at the ABR Festival, this coming June.

Half the money will go to charities and good causes, with the rest going towards a new project being worked on by Lyndon and his team. Visit lyndonposkittracing.com for details.
