Indian Motorcycle have confirmed that a new Scout cruiser line-up is on the way on Tuesday, 2 April – set to replace the current liquid-cooled 1133cc V-twin design that has remained largely unchanged since 2014.

Although various iterations and tweaks have arrived since then, April’s new cruiser additions look to be completely different, with engine alterations likely to help meet the latest Euro5+ regulations.

The new Scouts were officially teased on social media, as well as a 30 second video on YouTube (see below) – giving little away except for a brief glimpse of a side profile at 18 seconds, seen through the reflection of an old camera lens.

Given the 100-plus-year heritage of the Scout, it’s unlikely the new machines will move away from a V-twin configuration, with the bike glimpsed in the teaser appearing to have a raked out front end, plus slightly higher handlebars for a more muscular look.
