Luxury legends Ducati and Porsche team up for exclusive event showcasing the best of each brand

Luxury two- and four-wheeled brands Ducati and Porsche are teaming up for a special two-day event, giving fans of the brands a chance to sample the latest new metal on a specialist closed course.

Taking place on June 29-30, the €1200 experience is being run by the Italian arm of both brands – with the collaboration made possible by both firms belonging to the Volkswagen Group.

Ducati have previously collaborated with both Lamborghini and Bentley on limited edition models, with those brands also belonging to the VW family.

Registration is open already, with both the bikes and cars taking to five separate on- and off-road courses at the Porsche Experience Center, in Franciacorta. It is one of nine Porsche centres of this kind in the world with the event open to beginner levels of skill and upwards.

Much of Ducati’s motorcycle range will be on offer to ride, excluding the Panigale sportsbikes, with Porsche also bringing along the 911 Carrera S/4S, 718 Boxster GTS 4.0/Cayman GTS 4.0 and Cayenne/Cayenne Coupé.

The day-long courses are split into a half a day on bikes and half a day in the car – with participants taught how to be better, safer drivers and riders. Instruction will be given on body position, braking stability, managing emergency situations, and more – with the bike side of the course based on the DRE Road format.
