MCN long termers arrive

1 of 1

Two more of the 2005 MCN long term test fleet have arrived, with motorcyclenews.com Products Editor Dan Thornton taking delivery of a 2005 Suzuki GSF650 Bandit, and staff photographer Howard Boylan receiving his Suzuki DRZ400SM.

Both bikes arrived by van, with zero miles on the clocks but it took seconds before both were fired up. To hear how the two Suzukis sound with standard exhausts, click on the video links below. Both are currently being run in, with the first service due at 600 miles.

Boylan has already begun modifying his machine, with Ego Barkbuster hand guards (01372-378002) and an FMF Factory 4 full titanium system. To hear the difference the system has made already, click on the video link below.

You’ll be able to read more of Thornton and Boylan’s first impressions in MCN, out April 13.
