First impressions: Bimota DB7 launch from Misano

Michael Neeves, MCN’s Senior Road Tester, is currently in sunny Misano, Italy waiting for the first ride on the Bimota DB7.

Here are his first impressions:

“The waiting is finally over and I ‘m chomping at the bit to test Bimota’s 1098 engined DB7.

“The bike is typically Bimota with lots of carbon fibre and billet aluminium, and it looks tiny. It’s powered by Ducati’s brilliant 1098 engine and the big question is can it be at least as good as the Ducati if not better.”
