BMW Park Lane will build you this superstock S1000RR

BMW Park Lane is the only dealer in the UK where you can buy a race-prepared S1000RR new out of the crate.

Costing £17,500 (or £18,000, fully-painted) you get the full-spec superbike, complete with ABS, traction control and electronic riding modes, plus race plastics, rearsets, a full Arrow race exhaust, Biturbo rear shock and fork internals, R&G crash protection and more.

They’ll also take you and your bike to a circuit and help you dial it in with the help of their race technicians.

They’re also the first dealer to offer  test rides on a fully-prepared superstock-spec S1000RR, so you can try before you buy.

Senior Road Tester Michael Neeves rode BMW Park Lane’s race-prepared S1000RR at Brands Hatch.

“If you thought the stock S1000RR was amazing, this is a whole different level. With just a race pipe it makes a true 191bhp at the rear wheel.

“For the first few sessions of a trackday around the Brands GP layout it was hard to keep up with the speed of the bike, it’s so fast. You really have to rev the engine for best results, so it’s like a 600 on acid.

“The race suspension sharpens up an already superb chassis. It’s far better than me, that’s for sure, and I can see why superstock racers are hastily chopping in their bikes to buy an S1000RR, quite rightly as it seems to be the bike to have at the moment.

“I’m staying on at Brands GP to race it in the MRO Stocksport championship this weekend with the team (Team Vari-Trac BMW Park Lane) to really get a feel what this superb machine is like, once I’ve come somewhere near to mastering it.

“Check back after the weekend for my race report and read all about the bike, BMW Park Lane and what it’s like to ride in MCN soon (including a video).
