Harley SuperLow group test

Published: 22 October 2010

Updated: 19 November 2014

Harley-Davidson’s new SuperLow sets its stall out as being one of the lowest seated bikes around – but does that make it the ideal novice/female-friendly big bike?

To find out, we’ve pitted the new Harley against three of the best, most stylish (and lowest) middleweights around – Triumph’s Bonneville SE, the Ducati Monster 696 and BMW’s F650GS.

What’s more, to ensure our conclusions are completely relevant, we’ve roped in a typical prospective buyer – 5’4” Katie Saxon to pass judgement. Her impressions and verdict will surprise you.

Read our full test in next week’s Motorcycle News, out October 27.
