Not all superbikes costs silly money. The latest offers from Benelli sees its once £11,700 Tornado Tre 900 now priced at just £5999, making the exotic Italian a surprising, alternative, bargain.
Let's put that in perspective for a moment. Prices of Japanese bikes have continued to escalate, with the once massively popular 600 Supersport class, in particular, seeing prices increase dramatically.
The Yamaha R6, for example, is now £9399. That means today, a mid-range 600 is knocking on £10,000 while an exotic Italian superbike, which was once considered an out-of-reach pipe dream for a supersport-buyer, is actually £3400 LESS.
