MV Agusta Brutale 800 and Dragster RR first ride

MV Agusta’s new 2015 Brutale 800RR and Dragster 800RR are today being put through their paces around the stunning roads of Tuscany by MCN Senior Road Tester Adam Child. Here are his first impressions:

“MV certainly know how to get your attention; both the limited edition Brutale 800RR and Dragster 800RR are stunning in the flesh, with MV giving the Dragster a significant design twist by adding mouth-watering extras like sexy spoked wheels. They’re certainly bold – which may not be to everyone’s taste, but you can’t say they’re not daring.

“But it’s not only a jaw-dropping exercise; both bikes sharing the same 798cc triple motor have been boosted in power from 125bhp to 140bhp. As you’d expect the limited edition R models also have uprated suspension and revised electronics which control the rider modes, eight stage traction control and also now the new quick-shifter which also works both up and down changes

“The sexy Brutale RR will set you back £11,599 and the radical Dragster a £13,500 (both plus on-the-road charges). Both models will be available before the end of the year in UK dealers and will be on show at the NEC.”
