Yamaha builds a bike to handle like a BMX

Yamaha’s new Tricker concept bike combines the 223cc SOHC four-stroke single of the new TW225 with an alloy beam frame.

Yamaha says the bike was inspired by the X-Games – where BMXs and skateboards are used to perform awesome stunts. Yamaha reckons a motorbike like the Tricker could add a whole new discipline to the sport.

Extra footpegs fitted to the ends of the front and rear wheel spindles are added for more stunt fun and as the wheelbase is the same as a YZ85 minibike, it should mean it is easy to chuck around.

Don’t expect to see one in your local showroom soon.
