Husqvarna unveils 2003 models

1 of 1

Swedish firm Husqvarna has just released details of its 2003 range of off-roaders, which includes all new four-stroke 250 and 450cc production models.

The range, which marks Husqvarna’s 100th year of bike production, is topped by the internet-order only Husky Nox supermoto, but it’s the firm’s TC450 450cc four-stroke crosser which it has the greatest hopes for.

Only available in limited numbers last year the TC450 is aimed squarely at Yamaha’s new YZF450 and Honda’s CRF450.

Husqvarna is claiming a 10 per cent reduction in frame weight and a five per cent reduction in swing arm weight across the range, with a reciprocal increase in stiffness in both areas.

The new range should be available from UK dealers by September. There are no prices available yet, but for more details visit www.husqvarna.it
