Suzuki’s big-selling bargain Bandit 600 is being upgraded with more grunt for 2005.

The new GSF650 and GSF650S are just two of a line-up of six new bikes revealed by the firm on Friday, August 27, 2004.

The two new 650cc Bandits are joined by a Supermoto version of the DRZ400S (the DRZ400SM), a restyled VZ800 Marauder cruiser, echoing the style of the 1600, and an all-new RM-Z450 crosser.

The new Bandit has an actual capacity of 656cc – its first update since 2000. Other changes include: Adjustable seat height (ranging between 770 and 790mm) An ABS option, forks with adjustable preload, adjustable rebound on rear shock, a 4kg weight saving and a host of cosmetic changes.

The flagship is the 2005 GSX-R1000. (see link, right).
