New ZX-6R spotted

1 of 1

Sneak previews of an important new bike have been leaked on to the internet – and we’re convinced it’s the new ZX-6R.

Kawasaki will be launching its 2005 range at the end of August and the updated ZX-6R is expected to take centre stage.

The site wefound showed a very brief glimpse of the outline of the new bike. On it we’ve spotted:

underseat exhausts.

a new swingarm.

wavey brake discs.

new bodywork

The site was viewable at www.thenewgreen.com, but only for a short period. That site now appears to have been taken down.

But expect to read more about this new bike in MCN out on Wednesday, August 25.

The new Kawasaki range is also expected to include a half-faired version of the Z750, which will put the bike in direct competition with the Yamaha FZ6 Fazer. And there are updates planned for the ZX-10R, too.

The motorcyclenews.com team will bring you the first pictures of the full range when they go public officially.

We’ll also be at the Munich bike show to bring you the first pictures of the 2005 bikes launched at this important show. Make sure you check the site on September 13 and 14 to be among the first to see them.
