All-new CBR600RR

1 of 1

Honda has revealed its next generation CBR600RR for 2005 – and there’s a wealth of important updates including a 6kg weight cut, revised engine, frame and swingarm, new radial mount four-piston front calipers, revised front fairing and new instrument panel.

The new front end – complete with new forks – echoes that of the Fireblade and the revised 599cc engine promises stronger torque throughout the midrange. New fine-spray injectors are claimed to improve response, too.

The frame and swingarm are new and lighter, too, as is the 4-into-2-into-1 exhaust. The new claimed dry weight is 164kg (191kg kerb weight). Power is still a claimed 115bhp.
