More 05 Hondas

Honda has unveiled its complete 2005 line-up and, alongside the all-new CBR600RR, new Blade colours and other changes we published last week, there’s an all-new FMX650.

It could prove a great city bike and promises to cost just £4000.

The Dominator-derived motor makes around 35bhp, but the bike only weighs 160kg-odd.

Other updates revealed at the Munich Show launch and not previously published on this site include a CB1300 – now with ABS and new colours, and a new light design for the 250cc Foresight scooter, plus the following colour changes:

CBR1100XX Blackbird: Now comes in two-tone blue, silver or black/grey

CBR125R: Colours mimic CBR600RR and Blade, in blue, black/silver, red/blue/silver or new Repsol-replica scheme

CBF600: Blue or black

CBF500: Black

Varadero: Black, silver, blue

Varadero 125: Puce and grey.

VT750C Shadow: Burgundy

Our full Honda report appears in MCN – out on Wednesday, September 15
