Low-seats for Enfields

If you’re trying to find a bike with a low seat height, you can now choose a British classic, with a seat just higher than a cruiser.

The standard seat height of the Royal Enfield Bullet Electra-X 500cc single is 82cm, and although it’s not a giant, a lower option is now available. This option lowers the height by 10cm, to just 72cm. For comparison, a Harley-Davidson XL1200R Sportster has a seat height of 71.4cm, while the Triump Bonneville comes in at 77.5cm.

The Eelectra-X is proving a popular model, currently accounting for over 50 per cent of Royal Enfield’s UK sales. The low-seat model sells for £3582, and existing owners can purchase it as an aftermarket accessory for £130. Contact: 01386-700907.
