Benelli serves up Tre-K

1 of 1

Benelli has unveiled its new Multistrada-style Tre-K and Tornado 1130 at the Milan Bike Show in Italy.

The new Tornado – marked out by its use of a tuned version of the TNT’s 1130cc engine and new paint – is claimed to make 161bhp at 10,500rpm.

It gets a revised frame and suspension to cope with the more powerful engine but otherwise remains pretty faithful to the original design.

The Tre-K uses the TNT’s 1130cc engine, too. It has long-travel suspension, big grunt and an extended wheelbase to boost stability over steering sharpness. It weighs just 205kg.

It also gets a trellis frame specifically designed to cope with light off-road work and it is the first of the modern Benellis to have a traditionally placed radiator, designed to work better at low speed on trails.
