First pics: Bimota Delirio

1 of 1

Bimota has launched its new naked bike at the Milan bike show.

The 1000cc DB6 Delirio is based on the DB5 superbike with a Ducati engine and trelis frame and swingarm, but it gets high bars and new styling.

Although the bike looks very similar to the fully faired bike it isn’t just a DB5 with the fairing removed. The tank and tail unit are an all new design with the stylish triangular underseat pipes finishing it off.

There isn’t much provision for the pillion and Bimota have even made the rear footpegs removable simply with a key.

At the front end the bike gets 50mm Marzocchi forks with a Titanium Nitride coating and twin 320mm disks with 4-piston, 4-pad radial calipers.

The bike weighs in at 170kg and puts out 90bhp at 8500rpm with 65ftlb of torque.
