Suzuki unveil '06 bikes

Suzuki has unveiled the 2006 range at the International Motorcycle and Scooter show, with the Suzuki GSR600 taking centre stage.

The unfaired middleweight is the only new machine, but also shown are the GSX-R family, with one cut-away bike providing the best chance to see inside a Suzuki without using cutting equipment.

Also being promoted were the 2006 Suzuki V-Strom DL650 and 1000, with the 650 being priced at a competitive £5499.

The manufacturer also used the occasion as the chance to announce their final rider line-up for 2006, with Chris Vermeulen joining John Hopkins in the MotoGP squad, and Troy Corser as the reigning 2005 World Superbike champion.
