Video: Aprilia RSV-4 in action

Last Friday Aprilia revealed the prototype of its new RSV-4 WSB challenger at a dealer meeting in Italy – and thanks to video-equipped mobile phones you can now even see and hear it in action.

The bike was fired-up on stage at its unveiling, allowing dealers present to hear its 1000cc V4 engine running through a race exhaust. Although the machine has no visible redline on the rev counter, it reads to 16,000rpm, hinting that the engine should be capable of at least 14,000rpm before hitting the rev limiter.
